Fitness French Toast
French toast is on the menu this morning. This high protein French toast recipe has over 34g grams of protein, just by itself! The bread is dipped in a mixture made from protein powder and eggs. Serve with a side of peameal bacon to make this breakfast hit just right.

Ingredients
- 2 slices Whole Grain Bread
- 1 large Egg
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- ¼ cup 2% Milk
- ½ scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
- ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together all the ingredients, except for the bread.
- Lightly spray a non-stick pan with cooking spray and place it over medium heat.
- Dip a slice of bread in the 'custard' mixture, soaking both sides until well coated. To the hot pan, add the custard soaked bread slice and cook for 4-5 minutes, flipping halfway through. Repeat the process until all the bread slices are used.
- Serve immediately while warm with maple syrup and/or your favorite French toast toppings or sides.
